From Hosooka Observatory, enjoy a panoramic view of the vast wetland and the winding Kushiro River.
Then, we head to the Onnenai Boardwalk to explore the wetland on foot. Walk at a relaxed pace along approximately 3 km of barrier-free boardwalks, observing the changing environment from forest to wetland and discovering a variety of plants and wildlife.
With your guide’s explanations, you will learn how Kushiro Wetland was formed and how its natural environment is interconnected.
Enjoy a peaceful and relaxing experience in the wetland with a small group.
Free pick-up and drop-off are available from Kushiro Station and hotels in Kushiro City (up to 3 guests).

Tour Itinerary
7:00 AM – Meet at your hotel and depart (by your own vehicle or in the guide’s vehicle)
7:40–8:30 AM – Hosooka Observatory
9:15 AM – Arrive at Onnenai Visitor Center
9:30–11:15 AM – Walk along the Onnenai Boardwalk
11:30 AM – Tour ends on-site
12:00 PM – Arrive at your hotel or Kushiro Airport (for guests traveling in the guide’s vehicle)

1. Safety & Risks
Follow your guide's instructions. Risks include falls, weather changes and wildlife. Participants bear any search and rescue costs. Insurance is recommended.
2. Equipment
Bring all equipment required by your guide. Ask in advance if unsure.
3. Health
Disclose relevant health conditions when booking and report any changes before the tour. Incomplete or false disclosure may lead to exclusion without a refund. The guide may end participation for health or safety reasons; related costs are yours.
4. Liability
We take reasonable safety precautions but cannot control natural disasters, transport disruptions, crime, disease, government restrictions or sudden illness. Participants accept the inherent risks of outdoor activities and responsibility for their own actions. Weather, scenery and wildlife sightings are not guaranteed. Missing essential gear may result in refusal of participation and cancellation charges. Participants may be charged for damage they cause. Liability and refunds are subject to applicable law and our cancellation policy.
5. Transportation
You are responsible for reaching the meeting point. Arrange transfers in advance. Vehicle accidents are covered within applicable insurance limits. Distant transfers may be unavailable; actual fuel costs may apply.
6. Photography
Do not publicly identify other guests in photos or videos without permission. Unauthorized reproduction or commercial use of the guide's images is prohibited.
7. Personal Information
Your information is used for tour operations, safety and communication. Necessary details may be shared with emergency services; otherwise, no disclosure without permission.
8. Cancellation

9. Agreement
The contract takes effect when we send booking confirmation. By booking, you accept these terms and the cancellation policy.
10. Insurance
Personal accident insurance suitable for the tour is strongly recommended. Our guides carry business liability insurance.
